Does the other person need Loothy installed?
Yes. The link you share takes them to the App Store if they don't have it.
What's the range?
Up to 30 meters via WiFi Direct (AirDrop). Bluetooth kicks in as automatic fallback at shorter range.
Does it work on Android?
iOS only for now. AirDrop is Apple's technology. Android is on the roadmap.
What happens when I close the app?
The conversation disappears on both devices. No history, no backup, no trace. That's the design.
Is it actually private or just marketing?
Messages go from iPhone to iPhone without touching any server. We technically can't see your conversations even if we wanted to.
Does it work in emergencies or without signal?
Yes. As long as there are two iPhones with battery within 30 meters, Loothy works. No cell towers, no WiFi, no mobile data.
